Update 3/25/08: Finished 3 jobs last week, one of which is posted (the far bottom, right of the portfolio thumbnails). Working on a big collection of spots now, and another nice assignment showed up yesterday.

Update 3/14/08: my postcard proof looks great, in my unbiased opinion :-) and the finished cards will start going out late next week. Send me an email if you want one mailed to you or your art director.

Eary March: I've sent a bunch of emails and have a few more to go. Getting good responses (with a number who wrote variations on: "Love your work. Will definitely use you soon."), which is great considering how busy ADs and CDs are. Next step is to get my postcard printed and mailed around. That should be happening within a few days.

Had a illo in the Wall Street Journal in January. Nice little assignment for an article on (web) self censorship in China.

I'm in the process of updating this site as I complete new illustrations. Yes, this is a new style for me. It's much more organic and free flowing, and therefore more personal. I really love doing them, and that's a good sign I expect. There's plenty of room to grow and try out new characters and concepts.

I'm finally going to take the plunge this year, and begin writing and illustrating a children's book idea I've been kicking around.

It should be a busy and fruitful year!
